Who we are

The team you want in the room

ArcCentrx brings together a team with a track record: $2 billion in technology spend overseen, 25+ Fortune 500 companies, 6 exits. Collectively, we've launched products, fixed broken funnels, replatformed systems mid-flight, hired and restructured teams, and steered companies through the growth stages you're in now. That's the difference between a firm that advises and one that executes.

Founding Team

ArcCentrx was founded by Michael Panzarella, JoLynn Smith-Joyner, and Thomas Young: three executives who were each already doing this work under their own names and brought their collective expertise together as one firm.

Mike Panzarella
Mike Panzarella
CEO | Founder

Mike Panzarella is a C-suite executive and early AI pioneer with more than 20 years at the intersection of banking, fintech, and technology. He has directed more than $2.1 billion in banking, technology, and consumer-retail initiatives, and the platforms and products he's worked on have reached over 40 million users.

He has held C-suite and senior product roles across the industry: Chief Product Officer and Chief Design Officer at Green Dot, leading the product and experience organization behind consumer fintech brands and banking-as-a-service partners including Apple, Walmart, and Uber; Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Product Officer at Rocket Dollar; and a member of the Square team that launched one of only three new ILC banks approved in fifteen years. Earlier roles span American Express, Citibank, and financial services consulting across North America.

At ArcCentrx, Mike leads strategy, business development, sales, and finance. Today, he leads the firm's financial technology advisory practice directly.

His experience spans banking, insurance, mortgage, payments, retail, and back-office investing, from product design and technical architecture to vendor selection, regulatory delivery, and the build-versus-buy calls that determine whether a system holds at scale, across Fortune 500 enterprises and regulated financial institutions.

Thomas Young
Thomas Young
CMO | Founder

Thomas Young is a marketing and growth executive who has spent his entire career building brands and growth engines across fintech and financial services, spanning customer acquisition, brand, lifecycle, communications, and go-to-market strategy.

He co-founded Rocket Dollar, a self-directed retirement platform for alternative investments, where he helped guide the initial product buildout before building and leading every part of the marketing organization. Under his brand and growth leadership, Rocket Dollar grew its assets under administration to several billion dollars before the company was acquired in 2024. Earlier, he started his career at AngelSpan and ran a marketing agency serving financial professionals.

At ArcCentrx, he leads marketing, creative, brand, advertising, communications, and demand generation, as well as partnerships, growth strategy, and the delivery team.

His experience spans the full arc of a growth organization, from guiding early product buildout through go-to-market and scale: public relations, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, brand and creative, customer communications, demand generation, and partnerships across fintech and financial services.
